Michael is the Founder and Managing Partner of Golden Bear Partners. He has nearly two decades of experience investing in founder-owned essential services companies, and supporting leaders as they grow enduring businesses.

Prior to founding GBP, Michael was a Partner at Varsity Healthcare Partners. Previously, Michael was a senior investment professional at Enhanced Equity Funds, and he started his career at Cowen and Company in the healthcare investment banking group.

Michael graduated from the University of Richmond with honors and resides in New Canaan, CT with his wife, three young children, and beloved black lab, Perry. In his spare time he is an avid golfer and devoted sports fan, particularly of Ohio State football, Houston Rockets/Astros and Everton FC.
